I was very lucky this day to have both spillways open at the Clyde Dam, completing the picture that I took. The almost triangular formation of large rocks in the foreground led the eye to the dam, turbine hall, and on this occasion, water whooshing from the spillways. It was quite a menacingly dark scene and I wanted to capture this quality with the water being the tonal highlight.
